Wow!! We went to Windermere for the day and the weather was absolutely stunning. We walked around and had some lunch then decided we wanted to go on a trip around the lake. The main town was heaving with people trying to get on the big boats and we thought no let's leave it we don't want to be squashed like sardines. Then walking back to the car we saw the sign for Lakeland Adventures! I scanned the QR code and saw they did private hire with a skipper and on board drinks!! We walked over and Shaun gave us all the information and was so helpful we got straight on! Emma was also so lovely and offered us the drinks menu straight away! We had the most amazing trip around the lake and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thank you so so much and what a fantastic service you offer! I will 100% be back in the future for a longer trip! It was the highlight of our holiday in the lakes so far! Wow!! *

Our boat trip was a spur of the moment decision, something to remember from our trip to Windermere.
If we had have spent a month researching, planning and debating we could not have picked a better company, boat, experience or achieved a more memorable adventure!
Everything about Lakeland Adventures was 5 star, the friendliness of Julie and Les, the comfort of the boat, the tranquil, but breathtaking scenery! The general care and attention to detail that we received to make us feel comfortable and special. We will certainly recommend it to our friends and family and look forward to a return trip.

I booked quite last minute as a surprise for my family, Sean and Emma were amazing hosts offering a 5star service. We sailed around the lake and had Prosecco from the on board bar. The weather wasn’t great but the experience made it completely worth while even our small dog enjoyed himself on deck. If you’re wanting a luxury sail on the lake with lovely friendly hosts I highly recommend. See you again soon. Thanks guys. 🙂

Me and my partner Cheryl enjoyed our experience so much on the Thursday with Shaun and his lovely partner we decided to book again the next day with Les and Julie.

All I can say is the experience really is fantastic.
These guys are a family and really enthuse about what they do.
Very informative about sailing, the lake , where to go for good food and lots more.

Honestly great value for money and you even get a lovely framed photo of us at the end of the trip.

Lovely lovely genuine down to earth family people.

The boat trips are lovely. We used them multiple times travelling all around the lake. The captain did a nice little commentry of what you can see from the boat, which was great!

Thanks so much for our wonderful sailing experience, booked as a post wedding family treat after our elopement the day before. It was such good fun and our hosts made us all feel very welcome and relaxed. The cold wind wasn't a problem with blankets and hot drinks to keep us toasty. A very thoughtful touch was being handed a framed photo of our newest family memory which we will treasure. Thank you xx
