Liked: The staff were very helpful from the minute we arrived to the time we left. The campsite was very clean and tidy. The pitches were a good space away from each other and there was still plenty of room for kids to play football etc etc.
We stayed in a pod which was also a good size and it came with a double bed and underfloor heating which was a God's send to drying damp towels after a shower.
The shower blocks were spotlessly clean and tidy and very warm. Sometimes a little to warm after you've just got out the shower, but hey ho better than being cold!! The washing up facilities were nice and open and also clean. There's also somewhere to do laundry there is a bar that's in walking distance called the Ski bar. Lovely staff in there too.
The beach/estry is literally a two minute walk from the site which is well worth a walk about.
The lakes are roughly about 50-60 mins away so your not far from a good day out.
All in all I'd highly recommend this site.
Can't wait to go back next year, hopefully as a bigger group. ?

Disliked: The 4g signal was a bit hit and miss but that's not the sites fault. There's no WiFi.

Liked: It is what it says on the can, people who have given negative reviews in terms of location etc didn't take the time to read the information.
Beautiful ❤️ place. Showers exceptionally clean and warm. Friendly helpful staff. Ten minutes walk into Haverigg and thirty minutes walk to Million. Fabulous chip shop in Haverigg and lovely pub. Site is clean and quiet. Only downfall in my opinion is no recycling facilities. Great walks on beach ⛱️ and around nature ?‍? reserve.
Fabulous on the premises made ice ? cream ?.
Will definitely be back!

Disliked: Negative reviews who didn't take time to read about the place prior to their visit!!!

Really nice campsite, really clean, showers were amazing and the heating in the room was brilliant when you came in out the cold. Clean site and well maintained. Staff were helpful with the fact we had forgotten our electric hookup and let us borrow there’s. We had a few issues with noise and the options they gave us were really useful. Overall a good campsite, right on the beach and dog friendly which is always a bonus for us.

Liked: It was our first time camping and we were really impressed with our stay. We arrived quite late on a Friday evening, having set off straight from work. Upon arrival we asked the lady on reception for advice on where we could go to eat. She advised us that the bar next door stopped serving in 20 minutes but would ring them to let them know we were coming. We were really grateful for the help. We chose our own pitch and had plenty of room. The site was quiet all weekend with no loud music at all. The shower rooms are a very good size and the water hot. All facilities are cleaned to a good standard. The ice cream at the site shop is gorgeous, and it’s lovely to walk in the nature reserve next to the beach.
We would recommend the site to anyone wanting a peaceful break.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Liked: The site is really well cared for and clean, you are five minutes walk to the beach and about ten miutes to Haverigg centre.
There is a lovely cafe on site selling home made ice cream. The toilets and showers are very well cared for, the latter having heating in the room.
A five minute walk from the site is a small bar called the SKI Bar serving food and drink. All in all a great place to stay.

Liked: Really friendly peaceful campsite. Nice relaxed atmosphere.Excellent shower and toilet facilities, the shower room was as big as at home! The staff phoned us to let us know they'd had a lot of rain, and did we still want to come. Changed us to hard standing at short notice. Interesting local area with dog friendly bar nearby.

Liked: What a gem of a place this is. It’s totally unspoiled. With 2 min walk to the beach. 5 mins walk to the ski bar and restaurant which serves very nice food there’s also an aqua park there too. If you’re wanting a site with slot machines and family bars this isn’t for you. If you’re wanting peace and tranquility to unwind you will find it here with nice views and walks. The town of Millom is a 15 min walk . There you find little shops an Indian restaurant Beggars theatre and a Tesco for your supplies. The site has immaculately clean showers and toilets. Reception is a cute log cabin building as you enter the site and the ladies in reception could not of been more helpful. Next door there is ice cream is made on site which was delicious. . We be back for sure we loved the peace and quiet just what we needed to unwind and re charge .
