What an absolutely wonderful day. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, Durdle Dor, Lulworth Cove, Waverley paddle steamer, seals and jumping tuna. Immaculately clean ship and a great experience.

Great experience, especially helping out to put up the sails on this wonderful old tall ship.
The crew are very friendly and chatty. They have a lot of knowledge on all things sailing.

Unfortunately we didn’t get out of the harbour due to wind direction and perhaps it looked a little choppy.

We booked a 2hr trip but will definitely be booking a longer trip next time to sail a little further.

We booked a sunset sailing experience for whole family and everyone loved it! Such a fun with ability to join in, listen to stories and just enjoy the views and company of the sailor dog 🙂 highly recommend if you near Weymouth, we will be back for longer sail for sure! Amazing guys, allowed us to take our autistic child to have a look around the boat a few days before we booked to put his mind at ease. Booked a 2 hour ride and loved every moment. Allowed my partner to spring a surprise proposal on the boat halfway round too!

Unreal experience, I would totally recommend ans the crew were really knowledgeable and welcoming as they let me steer the ship for the majority of the trip! I would also definitely go again, especially for the little yappy jack Russel and the cutest black lab!

We had a fantastic experience with Moonfleet Sailing on Bank Holiday Monday in August! We bought this experience with a Red Letter Days voucher, which was actually more expensive than doing the sailing trip direct with Moonfleet - just an FYI. We did the four hour sailing to Durdle Door and it couldn't have been better. Although slightly chilly, it was a beautiful sunny day. We were meant to anchor at Durdle Door but due to currents (or something of the like) we weren't able to do so, so lowered the sails and slowly drifted back towards Portland. It was a lovely day nonetheless, and we were allowed to steer the ship for a good hour, hour and a half, and even got to wear a pirate's hat. The crew members were also very nice, including the lovely black seadog on board. Lots of space to social distance with 12 people on board and hand sanitiser bottles absolutely everywhere too. Would 100% recommend and would love to go again!
