I went on the September Discover scrambling course with Summitfit and had a brilliant time. Despite a range of confidence and experience within the group it worked well for everyone. For myself that meant some explanations of what to do and being allowed to explore and experiment, with intervention or help if I was going to do something silly! We took a lovely route that was well guided and I felt very confident as a result. As a bonus, Jack is also very friendly and lovely! I look forward to going on a future trip of the next level up.

Booked on for a Beginners Mountain navigation and an Advanced Contours nav course with Summitfit.

Hosted in Capel Curig, with expert local knowledge. From all the info prior to booking, to ongoing support post event the whole experience exceeded expectation. Highly recommend using Summitfit to grow Hill Skills and gain invaluable confidence in the outdoors.

Jack Williams leads a wonderful and friendly organisation, which inspires and guides others to get out into the mountains in a safe and sustainably conscious manner - both in the UK and elsewhere. A great clothing range too. Jack himself leads by example on how to get the most out of life and our natural landscape. I was lucky to join a group tour in Snowdonia (Discover the Carneddau) on a clear and sunny day - great walking, great views and most importantly great company! Highly recommended.

A brilliant and enthusiastic team of mountain leaders. Loads of local knowledge and passionate about the outdoors. Lots of hints and tips picked up for outdoor navigation and learning to read maps with more confidence. Would highly recommend!
