Brilliant and efficient service at this location
The staff was very direct, proffesional and quick,
I had pre paid for a small van for the day and they quickly processed and gave me the vehicle, infact they even arranged space for me to park my own car while I drow away in the van for the day.
The vehicle was new and really smooth,
The hand over was also very smooth,
No hidden fees or rip offs.
I seriously recommend this place and definitely going back if I need services.

They wanted a credit card for the temporary deposit, this was not a requirement when I hired with enterprise before, this branch is not lenient on that,
( need to feed the card with PIN and all)
They accept foreign drivers licence as long as u have only been in uk less than 1 year and the licence is in English.

Really professional and efficient service. There was an issue in relation to pick up of the original car, which was entirely out of the staff’s control but it was handled with professionalism and courtesy, thanks to Peter. The process was really smooth and quick from the booking to returning the car. I am really grateful to both of the ladies that assisted with the in-between (I can’t remember names, I’m sorry).
Highly recommend and will definitely use again if needed.

Great service at short notice. The staff are friendly, efficient and very helpful. A little on the pricey side but a 3 day hire at 3 hours notice this is to be expected; as well as having the option to drop it off in another part of the country. The car itself was very new, clean and well kept. Would recommend.

Booked car, all fine and ready to go.. Assistant manager phones to cancel.. Did not recieve refund. Phoned up again lastweek and spoke to manager, he said refund has been confirmed on the system and i double checked with him over and over to make sure, he said ''yes it will be with you in 5 days''... Waited patiently for 9 days. still no refund.. Now the assistant manager says the records have been lost and they cannot issue a refund!... The staff all contradict eachother.. Appalling service!.

These guys canceled our van two days prior to our holiday via email. We booked and paid for it (including accommodation and car ferry) months ago. Their solution was a 5 seater replacement but we are 6 people and luggage. Will NEVER book with them again!! They ruined our holiday

Where do I start?

Reserved and pre-paid best part of 400 pounds to rent a car for a week. The reservation was for Jan 5th.

This is where things begin.

When going to collect the car I'm told they won't hire to me because I'm not on the electoral register, besides having, proof of address, British passport and driving license. (I've been in Australia for 11 months).

So, have to go to a local competitor (Badger - couldn't recommend enough. Sorted on the spot and at a cheaper rate.)

Two weeks later, no refund.
Follow up with a call and told by Pete, he'll chase it.

Another week later, no refund. Ring up Pete and sure enough after a more lengthy phone call he assures me he'll chase it urgently.

This brings us to today. Went in in person explaining that I'm due to go back to Australia soon and I'm about to be charged interest on this credit card payment. And I want a refund today.

Pete assures me he'll chase it on the phone now and resolve this. So, we leave for an hour to do some shopping and on my return Pete tells me they haven't replied to his email.

In disbelief that he hasn't even bothered to call, his colleague returns with a cuppa displaying the branches relaxed approach.

After a ten minute conversation with Pete and his area manager they continue to give excuses claiming they don't have the capability to issue a refund and claim it's out of their hands. Genuinely suspect they're hanging onto the payment to enhance their monthly revenue and therefore commission.

Here's the kicker, after leaving frustrated we ring customer service and they explain no refund has been issued and they're entirely unaware of the issue. I received an email confirming the refund which takes FIVE WORKING DAYS. And they will be launching an internal investigation.

Go up
