On holiday in our motorhome we were looking for a hire car to help us get around North Devon. Always wanting to use local businesses we found these guys & I have to say they were brilliant!
Excellent customer service from the off with Gus, an easy conversation to get the car sorted & it was dropped off to us at the campsite and picked up after. Seamless!!
The car was fab for these little Devon roads and we went all over in it.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and we’ll definitely use them again when we are in the area!

Called Gus after reading a few online reviews. What a lovely guy who explained the process, booking made and confirmed via text message.

Bank transfer for payment a day before Gus delivered the car to Woolacombe camp site. Quick exchange then we were off exploring Devon & Cornwall using the C3. Car done the business no issues, lovely and clean and well presented. Managed 530 miles in the week going to Lands End, Exeter, Padstow, Lynton and other local areas. Gus kept me informed on day of delivery and the night before collection and arrived at the camp site bang on the agreed times.

Would highly recommend Metrocentre for Car Hire. Cheers Gus.

Just hired a lovely little Ford Fiesta for 8 days. Fantastic price and great service. I was met at Barnstaple bus station, signed paperwork and away I went. Quick and easy. So nice to use a family owned business rather than a big corporate one. I will definitely use The Metro Centre again. Thanks guys.

We don't usually bother with google reviews but we Highly recommend Gus and the Team. They are very helpful and professional, The car we hired from them numerous times was very clean, well maintained and in great condition. We hired the car during our stay in the UK for 3 months, the car was dropped off at our front door and collected every time, on time. We booked last minute a few times and it was never a problem, We will certainly use them again anytime we're back in the area. Thank you Gus and the Team.

Gus & Son is a traditional family-run business what a service, they made my situation of having to use a car hire firm as simple and stress-free as possible, then I phoned around other hire companies they said no you cant have it longer than this and made it so complex as they possibly could. I explained my requirements to Gus and His son and they where able to help . I would strongly recommend Metro Centre to anyone one who requires hire car , they go above and beyond and their customer care is outstanding , again thank you so much Steve

Amazing hire car company! bailed me out after another 'local' major hire car company said they didn't have a car last minute despite me paying for it!

Really good rates, very clean and tidy car. Dropped off and collected at my door! massive help with having kids, very much recommend - friendly staff - cant fault it!
