We have just travelled to the Elgin hotel from Bishop Auckland and from the off Jill the driver was a breath of fresh air. She made everyone feel comfortable was funny courteous and a wealth of knowledge. She provided us all with so much useful information. She is an absolute credit to your company and we hope to be driven by her in the future.
If you give out awards she deserves the biggest accolade.

We stayed at the Elgin last weekend and were picked up in Barrow in Furness by your driver Jill. She is an absolute star and the jewel in Coastal crown. Friendly, funny, helpful and very professional it was a pleasure to travel with her. The coach was spotlessly clean and Jill made sure we had a comfort stop on the way. Can't wait to meet her again on our next trip.

You really do need to train your drivers to be more courteous to other road users. One of them this afternoon around the Preesall area tailgated me and behaved in an aggressive manner by continuously beeping his horn. This was whilst travelling through School zones, where the speed limit is reduced to 20mph. I abided by the aforementioned speed limit and received abuse, not good when you have your company name plastered all over your bus! It’s a pity I couldn’t get his registration number, otherwise I would have reported him to the police.

I have used the No 78 bus twice this week and had terrible experiences both times. On Wednesday 30th August I got the 07:39 No 78 from Lytham Square and because I only had a note rather than the exact change I was told to go to a shop to get some change. Surely, Coastal Coaches have heard of the revolutionary concept of a 'float' which has been in use in commerce since before the Middle Ages? This morning, 1st September, I again got the 07:39 No 78 from Lytham Square and had just bought a coffee from Costa Coffee which was secure in my travel mug with a lid. I was told I could not get on the bus with a drink as it was company policy that no food or drink can be taken on their buses and had to throw it away - £2.65 for the coffee plus £8.95 cost for the travel mug? The driver was rude and aggressive in his manner and seemed to delight in my having to throw away my coffee and travel mug in order to be allowed to travel. Your customer service is disgusting and apparently well known as when I had to go to Sainsburys to get change to travel on Wednesday, the staff in there also commented how rude the drivers are when they go into that store to change their coins back to notes later in the day. These rude drivers and insane policies are damaging your brand and I am sure affect your profits as I certainly will be looking for alternative means of transport going forward. A good job I had my packed lunch in my bag otherwise the driver would probably have made me throw that away too and then I would be hungry all day never mind going without a drink!!! Disgusting ...

Thanks to Coastal Coaches 25 ladies had a fantastic golfing day out even though the weather itself was to say the least, inclement! Our driver Paul was at the pick-up point before the arranged time and helped us load the bags, trolleys etc onto the coach. He was there when we came off the course and so we were able to put our soaking wet 'stuff' in the back of the coach and then go and get changed and have our meal! Paul was outside waiting to take us home when we'd finished the meal and then brought us home! What a patient and pleasant driver we had. Thank you Coastal Coaches for helping make a very wet day so enjoyable.

Unreliable bus service. Waited for the 7.51 bus this morning. Didn't stop and flew past. So, going to miss my train.

Not the first time I've had a problem with Coastal Coaches. On a few occasions, I've rang the bell for the coastal coach bus to stop at the next stop and they haven't stopped at my requested stop.

Fuming...my daughter paid her fare cash on the 78 in St Anne's but her freinds didn't realise they dont take cards. The driver then refused to refund my daughters fare leaving her with no money to get on another bus then rather than give her chance to make a descision wether to stay on the bus on her own or stay with her freinds he drove away. 12 year old stranded in St Anne's...disgusting

A group of us - all elderly enjoyed our day out at Windermere two weeks ago, but the return journey was spoiled by Coastal Coaches of Warton driver driving much too fast through narrow roads and having to seriously brake on the M55 due to speeding - scary! Would not go again.

I have contacted the firm TWICE via Email, and after 10 days they haven’t even bothered to acknowledge my complaint.

Disgusted!
