Visited today (family of 4) and did the archery and air rifle shooting. Was fairly pricey at £45 each but was definitely worth it. Nice, friendly, helpful instructor. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend. Free tea, coffee & homemade biscuits too, what’s not to love ?

Superb day, did axe throwing, archery, cross bows and clay pigeon shooting. Host (young lady) was fantastic, joining in with our banter and making us feel at easy. Back again later in the week for 4 wheel fun.
Highly recommended if staying in the area.

This is a great place for a day's activity. The air rifle shooting was great, with quality guns and the young girl was helpful and friendly, sorry I forgot her name!!!
The quad biking was fantastic! Amazing tracks with challenging routes and a seesaw!!! Ryan the guide was great, again helpful and friendly. Will be going back to try more!

Stayed at the campsite here for 7 nights with our 4 kids before the English school holidays and more or less had the place to ourselves.
The views were idyllic and the facilities basic but clean which all we needed for a ‘wild’ camping experience. The site also allowed fire pits which we brought with us which was really nice additional bonus.
This is truly a hidden gem in terms of campsites that are near the Lake District. We explored every corner of the Lake District using this site as our base. Loved it!

Was on a stag do 22nd June 2024, fantastic day with excellent instructors. Clay pigeon shooting, crossbows quads, and 4x4 driving. Lovely lunch and plenty of tea,coffee and biscuits (all homemade).
Highly recommend for a great day out.

Visited last weekend as part of my hen do. We had a great time clay shooting. George, who looked after us, was great. Gave clear, understandable instructions and was full of helpful tips. He even played along with the girls who were keeping the activity a surprise so I didn't know what we were doing until the very last minute. There is also ample tea and coffee facilities with incredible homemade cakes available at the main site.

The Mrs and me did the Air rifle shooting with Emi and then the 4x4 experience with Matthew. We loved it and can’t wait to go back. They were so nice, it was so much fun and the hospitality was excellent.

The guy who took us for cross bow was really patient, encouraging and helpful. Really helped me by realising that even though I'm left handed I am right eye dominate and needed to shoot right hand. Really changed and enhanced my experience. Thank you
