Hays Travel West Kirby - Wirral

Have used this branch of Hays for a couple of years now. The staff are lovely, always helpful and nothing is too much travel. However, we have just got back from a trip to Berlin and can only describe it as an experience as the hotel we were given The Leonardo boutique hotel was average, nothing boutique about it but the worst part it was in a place called Schonefeld Rudow which is miles from Berlin centre and all the things we wanted to see, ie checkpoint Charlie, Berlin wall, museums, zoo,etc, we needed to travel one and half hours via two buses/train to Potsdammer platz/Alexander platz to see all of them, which given we only had 3 full days there wasn't enough time and was exhausting. Potsdammer is gorgeous once you get there loads to see and do, so unless you can drive there or don't mind spending loads of time on public transport don't stay anywhere else but this area. Plus side weather was gorgeous and their public transport was very efficient, we didn't have to wait long for buses/trains. But can't understand why Hays use this hotel and why they put us so far away from the centre, Schonefeld is a typical suburban area not the nicest and then you have to travel to U Hermann Platz which is very run down to get to the main sites.
