Dr Crank was a great guide, taking the group through some very interesting areas of West cliff. The ghost stories were informative with good historical background, delivered with flair and the occasional pun. Very satisfied with the value for money. The cost was £7 which was well worth it.

Dr Crank is a great story teller and a very witty fella. We really enjoyed the walk, his stories and seeing parts of Whitby we'd never otherwise stumble across. Recommended.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Whitby Ghost Walk with Dr. Crank! The walk promptly started at 7:30pm and for 75 minutes we were absolutely enthralled! He is a marvelous storyteller and slips in amazing jokes along the way! So happy we included this walk in our holiday plans!

We did Dr. Crank's ghost walk last night. It was a brilliant time for all the family. My eldest did not want to attend and by the end of the first story, he was engrossed in the wonderful spooky stories that Dr. Crank told. We haven't stopped talking about the walk! Very entertaining! Thank you Dr. Crank, we will definitely be coming to see you for your Dracula walk and another ghost walk!

We did the “in search of Dracula” walk last night and had Clare as our host. It was a very interesting tour of Whitby and pulled in facts about Bram Stoker’s tale… we had thought we’d go up the 199 steps and to the Abbey but that element was not included but did go through some great alleys and short cuts in Whitby, which we wouldn’t have known about… very engaging story telling and enjoyable, even in the rain… cash only though!

Stayed in Whitby for a couple of nights and decided to do both walks. Our guide for both was Claire and she was brilliant. She was very friendly, welcoming and definitely knew her stuff. The 'In Search of Dracula' walk was really informative with info about Bram Stoker and the things he experienced in Whitby to write the book. The ghost walk was spooky with an element of fun to it. I would definitely recommend these walks. Thanks Claire x

We attended the "In Search of Dracula" tour tonight and had a wonderful time. Even though one of the main draws of Whitby for us was Stokers book, and we had visited many Dracula sights ourselves, Claire told us many interesting stories and filled in parts of our knowledge that were missing. I'd definitely recommend the tour to anyone visiting Whitby.
