Absolutely brilliant!!
We enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish.
The young man taking the tour was extremely entertaining & a true professional - Terry his accomplice was also brilliant and aided anyone with a question. DD was lovely and went out of her way to amend our tickets after I ordered incorrectly - I saw other walks going on but NONE came close to this one -Well done to you all, my son and I a great time thank you ?

I went on this tour during the summer this year and I’ve got to say as both an Archaeologist and a Historian, it was an amazing tour! I genuinely felt tingles down my spine and was thoroughly gripped to each moment. My only regret is that it didn’t last long enough! ?

I last visited Yorkshire with my family 30 years ago as a teenager, and one of my favorite memories way back then was the York ghost tour. Fast forward to now, and you can imagine my excitement when I got to bring my own 13 year old daughter here to experience the same thing I remembered all those years ago. After lots of research on which tour to go with, I chose Dorian, and I was not disappointed: he was an engaging, vivid, witty storyteller, with spooky and gory details interspersed with much hilarity and interactivity. Highly recommend to anyone: we will now be listening to his podcast too. Thank you Dorian for allowing me to bring this experience full circle with my own daughter.

We’d wanted to do this tour for ages! We travelled up from London for a couple of days and we have three small rescue dogs that we tend to take everywhere with us. When searching online for dog friendly tours - these guys always came up and they looked so fun. We have no regrets booking this tour! We couldn’t believe how quickly 90 minutes went past. Our dogs can be a little reactive when they’re scared but they only got scared at one spooky point and luckily they didn’t bark too much. We had Dante as our tour guide and he was so good at improvising when our dogs got spooked and barked, he even incorporated our boy doggo as a possible suspect for the York Barghest. We learnt a lot about York in a short space of time but in such an entertaining way. Thank you!

Our tour guide, Daria Deathly was great, she kept the stories coming and had a fantastic presentation/performance which kept the tour interesting and fun! Remember Rule #1!! We loved it and kept referring to it throughout the rest of our vacation into Edinburgh and Venice!!

My teen, husband, and I greatly enjoyed the Deathly Dark tour we went on this evening! Our guide, Dafydd, was clever and energetic, keeping the entire group entertained with a little bit of York history and several ghost stories. He worked with the group's energy and rolled with anything unexpected. Highly recommend!

Despite it being a wet and cold night, our guide Dante was excellent. Very charismatic, he led the large group perfectly and put on a real show at every turn. Great entertainment for the full 90 minutes, highly recommended.
