Very nice place to Visit very quite with lots of wild life to observe . There are Cows grazing the river banks just be careful if you have a Dog with you as they do have Calves sometimes and can be very protective . Plus mind where your walking or Riding your bike as many Cow pats and can be uneven after wet weather as the Cows leave quite large holes after sinking in the grass with their hooves. Take advise from the sign in my photos on how to keep safe. There’s often no one anywhere nearby to shout to if you get into trouble. It’s a wild place to go to. One of the very few you can visit in Lincolnshire . Best bit is it’s free to access even the car park
There are several car parks on the east side of the river
You can also access the west side of the Haven via the RSPB car park and walk/ cycle along the sea front grass wall. It’s about a 3 miles hike with level walking and a few benches to rest along the way . Still a few cows grazing the grass which at least keeps the grass short . Just dodge the Cow Pats lol. There’s lots of Samfire to pick on the right hand side where it’s marsh land Muscles too nearer the Wash on the rocks .

Peaceful and serene. Need to check the weather and tides before heading down as these change the view and walk dramatically.

Walked along the bank of The Haven (Witham) to Cut End and visited the hide. A great view across The Wash. If you're going to visit, take your binoculars.
