We didn't go there as we were in shock that they wanted to charge us £50 to book an appointment to talk about a holiday. We stayed at home, made a free phone call to a travel agent and booked exactly what we wanted. We've used Trailfinders on many occasions but won't be going there again!

I went into Trailfinders Chester to book a trip to New Zealand to see my daughter and family. I added that I wanted to go to either the Maldives, Mauritius or the Seychelles. This didn’t faze Rach Price, my travel agent, in the least. She asked my order of preference and proceeded to sort my trip. I flew to Dubai, on to Mahe, in the Maldives, where a seaplane took me to Meedhupparu, my island/hotel. I was there for nine brilliant days! Seaplane back to Mahe, flight to Dubai, transport from the airport to my hotel, an overnight stay, transport back to the airport and my flight to Auckland. All was organised perfectly by Rach; not a beat missed on any part of my journeys. Thanks to Rach for her efficient organisation and friendly approach throughout my visit to the branch.

This has been my first time using Trailfinders. I'm honestly really impressed with the service and advice myself and my husband received when we dropped-in to the Chester branch to inquire about an upcoming trip we wanted to book.

The travel agent, Mary, was really helpful and knowledgeable. She was able to flesh out our basic itinerary and she gave great suggestions on how to tweak our plans based on price, average seasonal weather information, etc. She also gave us information about surprise costs that can occur in the country we will be visiting (e.g. RUC charges), which competing travel agencies failed to mention when shopping around.

I highly recommend Trailfinders and I will use them again in the future.

Update: we have just returned from the most amazing Honeymoon in Borneo which was organised as a private tour by Dean. Everything went smoothly with all arrangements for transport including internal flights, and all we can say for the accommodation is WOW

Been trying to book a honeymoon through this branch and given up. Spent 5 hours of my life on the phone and 2 visits, still no luck. Try phoning Chester , no answer and put through to national line with at least 30 minutes wait each time. Don't bother wasting your time.
