Lovely place to go for a paddle. With mass amounts of history, available in the museum. Cafe is great, canal boats and indoor and outdoor seating.

We have both walked and cycled the towpath but travelling on the barge was an entirely different experience. The crew were very knowledgeable and kept us amused with their anecdotes and the information about the canals history was very interesting.

Lovely trip down the canal which took 75mins as a round trip.
Informative crew and you can sit up with the captain outside if you want, although take it in turns. £8 person is just the right cost i think.
Nice cafe, gift shop and history room at the Chichester end of the canal.

Went for a bank holiday treat for us and the kids. I'm rubbish at rowing. However, this didn't stop the fun! Really worth while for money and we made a day of the local area.

We hired a row boat for 2 hour and took a picnic with us. There are plenty of tasty options in the cafe if you wanted to pick it up there. Beautiful views of the old canal from the water, staff all very kind and helpful

Lovely all weather tow path walk from heritage centre/cafe to Hunston. The Heritage centre is full of interesting information and worth a visit in its own right. Lovely teas, coffee, cake at visitor centre, manned by wonderful volunteers. Parking tricky at busy times, weekends.
