We wandered over the Folly Bridge in Oxford and saw the sign for river boat trips. We got tickets for a 45 minute trip down the Thames to Iffley Locks, at £13.50 per adult, no discounts for the over 65s. The boat arrived on time and as there were other boats on the small jetty, we had to cross over another boat to get the the one doing the trip. A rather awkward-looking turnaround followed before we sailed downstream. The skipper gave some commentary but he was mumbling and we only heard half of what he said, and that was not particularly interesting. That area of the river did not have much by way of beauty or places of interest, unlike many other stretches along this great river. So we came back and disembarked thinking it was a bit of a waste of time and money. We're not likely to repeat this trip anytime soon.

Took out a punt on September 14th. Was a hot day and they were very busy, but the lad over there Ben was working very hard and got us seen to in quick time. Very friendly staff and recommended us a great route. Helped us get our dog on and off safely as well which was a challenge for us last time we came. Will be back next year I’m sure 🙂

Just not very good. Very expensive and boring. Nothing interesting other than ducks , grass land and some run down building . Nothing to look at of real interest compared to what is in the city. Staff did not even check our tickets? We could have got on for free probably and saved £80 for 40minutes , £13:30 a person is mad If it was half price it would have been overpriced so 80£ is a scam. Would not recommend.

It was nice to see Oxford in a different way (on water) but I wouldn’t recommend this cruise - book across the road. There was no welcome, no real goodbye. I tried to thank one of the staff members on the way off the boat and he wasn’t really interested to be honest. There was information on board but you could barely hear anything. No sense of customer experience or proper signage. Pricey for what it is to be honest. It was just up and down the river, you don’t even get a proper view - waste of money with this company.

We wandered up the river for 20 minutes, turned around and came back without seeing anything of interest. The "tour guide" clearly had no interest in the tour. He mumbled some information on 3 occasions, one of which was the safety announcement, but we could hardly hear him. Waste of time and money.

We used this company for our wedding reception. We had a fabulous evening sailing from Windsor. The company provided a wonderful buffet, with lots of vegetarian options for our many veggie guests as requested and a great disco.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. Making our event very special.

The most magical moment was the escort of swans as we sailed back in to Windsor.

Had a fabulous 40 min trip down the Thames towards the lock. A beautiful old boat built in 1912, the same year as the Titanic and still going strong. Especially great was the commentary (which I wasn't expecting) with loads of insightful information about the Thames through Oxford, the University rowing & boathouses and history. Thoroughly recommend.

Was there for a retirement party, the boat is quite big and stable, the way downstream the Thames is lovely. We brought our own catering, drinks were available but at exorbitant prices.
