Tim was a very engaging and entertaining guide, sharing fun anecdotes of countless of the iconic Cambridge sites. He also pointed out many smaller details that the average passerby would not always catch, enriching our understanding of the buildings and history of Cambridge that much more. Tim was an excellent guide and certainly provides a better experience than walking around with a large tour group through the small streets. Highly recommended!!

Tim was great and very accommodating. We had booked in July of 2022, but our flight was cancelled. Tim was happy to take us just recently on a great tour of Cambridge that was fascinating with the right amount of historical perspective and humor. Like with most walking tours, unless you are very well versed on the history, you will be overwhelmed with facts and dates often about places and people that you are not familiar with. However with Guide and Peek, this was just fine. Tim took the time to make it interesting and very personal. We left the tour with a great understanding of the history of Cambridge, the university, and the various colleges that have contributed so much over the centuries. Thanks again Tim!

We went on a tour of Cambridge with Tim on Good Friday morning. Even before the tour, he had been incredibly helpful in creating a bespoke tour for my dad's 80th birthday, taking into consideration interests and concerns I had with regards to my Dad's ability to walk great distances. He also recommended other things to do in Cambridge, based on his vast knowledge of the area - he has lived there for 45 years.

The tour was incredibly interesting, with lots of facts and funny anecdotes. There was nothing that we asked that Tim was not able to answer. I would highly recommend Guide and Peek for your tour around Cambridge, it goes above and beyond the standard tours you can get. Much more reasonably priced and a much more authentic experience of this fantastic city than many other tours could even hope to offer.

A last minute decision to join this tour this weekend while on a visit up from London and it was a great experience! Very good value for money at half the price of the 'official' tours yet with more personal and in depth guide and local information. Really brought Cambridge to life with lots of stories about the local architecture, colleges and life. Lots of small details as well which made it all the more interesting. Tim our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we had a great time strolling around with him for a good 90 minutes. Highly recommended!

So glad we decided to do this walking tour, one of the best ways to see Cambridge. Tim is very knowledgeable and has lots of informative and funny stories, We had our teenage niece from Belgium with us and the style of the tour was especially perfect for her as Tim made everything so interesting and amusing. She will definitely remember the tales of Lord Byron and his bear. It's obvious that Tim loves what he does and his enthusiasm is infectious. A great way to spend a couple of hours in Cambridge.

I have lived in Cambridge for over 10 years but until recently I'd never had a really good look at the behind the scenes history of my adopted city. A group of friends and I decided to go ahead with the 'Classic' pre-booked tour and spent a lovely afternoon walking the streets and backs of the city, punting, and having a pub lunch! Tim is an engaging and knowledgeable guide, and I have since sent other visiting friends and relatives his way. Definitely recommended!
