Wow what can I say about this stunning property! Firstly the views from the balcony are amazing. You have a sea view from literally every window of the apartment. The decor is second to none. It is both classy and cosy with a lovely homely feel about the place. The kitchen is stunning with top of the range appliances, they really have left nothing out they have thought about everything. The quality of the soft furnishings are exquisite, so tastefully designed. I cannot recommend this property enough. From the close position to the beach to the 2 minute walk to town you simply can’t fault it.

WOW FANTASTIC STAY! ||(Sunrise View Apartment- 12A The Cresent)||When we walked into the apartment it was clean, tidy and had everything we needed for our getaway. There were fresh clean towels, beds were perfectly made and smelt clean too, so you know it’s well taken care of. They even had a high chair and cot bed which was a bonus so we didn’t have to bring ours and had more room in our car. Really dog friendly and perfect gardens just over the road, to walk our pup on an evening. We could see the sea from the beautiful large Victorian windows which also allowed plenty of light to shine through. Honestly had the best time there with my babies and will definitely be booking again for next year. The walk to the beach front is a pleasant one but would definitely recommend a trolley for the little legs. I was also glad to have it on the ground floor so we didn’t have loads of steps with a buggy. There wasn’t anything we needed or missed while we were there and an additional bonus of having Netflix to sign into (but remember to log off when you leave lol) also WiFi which is a lifesaver for our iPad mad 7year old. ||100% recommend this beautiful apartment!

We had a lovely stay at Sunrise View Apartment. We stopped with myself, my husband and our 2 daughters. It had a really nice homey feel, clean, with plenty fresh towels and even some condiments in the kitchen that you wouldn’t normally get when self catering. The apartment was bright and fresh and no noise at all from neighbours.||The kitchen and bathroom are especially lovely. Really elegant, fully equipped and modern looking.||It is in a great location, a short walk to the beach and the shops are just around the corner.||Parking can be an issue however, we did manage to get a spot outside the front of the flat for the majority of our stay. Even if that is full, there are plenty of side streets to park that are not far from the flat. ||Overall, we had a fabulous stay, would highly recommend and are looking to book to stay here again next year.

We are frequent visitors to Filey 2,3, sometimes 4 times a year. This is our first time staying in a 5iley’s property, we chose this one for the hot tub, which didn’t disappoint (it’s well maintained, clean & hygienic).||The welcome goodies on arrival were a real treat for us. Thank you. ||The location is quiet and the walk into Filey is comfortable, we like walking, anyone wondering about the location shouldn’t be put off by this, it’s just a 20 mins stroll away.||Compared to other properties we have stayed in, (which is many!) this one lacks the home from home feel, lots of small things let it down. With some thought and little effort they could soon be put right to give it that 5 star feel:||- Minimal kitchen equipment and mismatching cups, some of which are stained. |- No coasters for drinks. |- We travelled as a family of 3, and were left just 3 place mats, why?|- No drainage on kitchen side into sink.|- No appliance instructions (example washing machine - nothing on app).|- App instructions regarding bins and recycling is not applicable to this property (a one size fits all approach is not accurate information). |- Looking for guidance was frustrating, I gave up, so didn’t use the washing machine, but would have liked to.|- Microwave isn’t working properly (the time dial doesn’t register). |- Kettle needs descaling.|- Broken blind cords (all of them).|- Curtains not hung properly, master bedroom. |- No liquid soap available at all (an absolute must have).|- No sanitary bags (despite being asked not to flush things in the toilet and empty holders on the wall).|- No where to put toiletries in the master bathroom (floor only).|- Plugs stay down in master bathroom, had to use a knife to remove them.|- Shower shelf not straight in the guest bathroom (it doesn’t hold bottles - they fall off).|- Dirty shower mat & stained toilet in the guest bathroom.|- No hoover or similar to help clean the log burner. ||The property is very spacious and well designed, it just isn’t home from home, we left feeling quite disappointed. ||We can only assume this is the standard of all 5iley’s properties. Based on this experience we’re unlikely to use them again.

Just returned from a fabulous family weekend stay in Glenview House in Filey. What a little gem this house is, spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped and so handy for both the beach and town. The welcome basket was a lovely touch thank you! Sitting out in the garden on a sunny evening is a real treat and the kids loved the Track Shed and all the games provided. We will definitely be back again!

Sunrise View Apartment - 12A The Crescent, Filey||This apartment is in a great location with a view of the sea, close to the restaurants, pubs and shops in Filey but with a short walk (down steps) to the sea wall promenade. ||We managed to park on the street outside at 4.30pm on a Friday and didn't need to move the car all weekend.||The maintenance person Kris was responsive but we would have liked a second bedside light in the main bedroom (Kris tried to supply one but the socket doesn't work), a table lamp or two in the sitting room, and a solid door (not glass) or blackout blind on the door to the bedroom as the constant light from the communal hallway shines in all night. There was water leaking from the flat upstairs and dripping in front of the back door which meant we couldn't dry beach towels out there (or pop outside without getting dripped on - could be a problem for smokers). There were also some more minor maintenance issues e.g. the hook had come off the bathroom door.||I'd stay in Filey and The Crescent again but not in this apartment.

Our accommodation at No4 Filey was great and we would totally recommend staying there whether it be a couple or a family. Comfy beds, walking distance to the beach, lots of shops and a perfect base for discovering Yorkshire. We would definitely not hesitate using 5Leys again.

We love to come here ..we stay in a stunning apartment and 5leys always make booking the place easy .We love a particular apartment it's been like our second home for last 8 years ..and still blows us away ..panoramic views superb interior ,super comfy beds ..I love cooking and have all I need to hand ..thanks for your quality friendly service to make our dreams come true ..Kerry is a superstar and all the team .
Only the very best from the cleaning team too who have these places ready & immaculate ..this last week was a heatwave and to go in there and clean these apartments , hats off to them .
