We had such a brilliant time with 4x4 Adventures Scotland near Loch Lomond. Paddy was an outstanding guide who made the whole experience really memorable. On the drive out to the off road site, he shared loads of interesting local knowledge which made the journey itself part of the fun. Once we arrived, he took time to walk us through a proper safety briefing and gave a clear, hands on demonstration of how to handle the vehicle across different types of terrain. He was calm, encouraging and really made us feel at ease. It was a fantastic mix of adventure and learning, and we felt in very safe hands throughout. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

An Off-Road Safari in Scotland!

We booked a 4x4 Adventures Scotland experience as part of a company trip and hired three cars — and wow, what an unforgettable ride! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt like we were in good hands.

Our driver, Paddy, was the absolute highlight of the day. He didn’t just drive — he performed. From cracking jokes to storytelling, it felt like we were on a Scottish safari. Every sheep had a name, every hill had a tale, and every bump in the road came with a punchline. Paddy and his team even helped us turn our idea of a team competition into a fun game — we’re still debating who won (but clearly, it was Paddy).

The team also made sure we were well looked after, from water and snacks to tailoring the trip to our group. All the other drivers were equally fantastic — friendly, helpful, and full of local knowledge. You can tell this is a group that loves what they do.

Highly recommend this experience if you’re up for laughs, stunning views, and a dose of Scottish magic. We’re already planning our return — and next time, we want Paddy on our team again!

This 4x4 off-road adventure was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, it was a thrilling and deeply immersive journey through some of Scotland’s most stunning and untouched landscapes. The serenity of the mountains, lochs, and open skies made it feel like time had paused — it was the perfect way to disconnect and reconnect with nature.

What truly elevated the whole experience was our guide and incredibly skilled driver, whose sharp sense of humor, engaging storytelling, and in-depth knowledge made every moment fun, informative, and unforgettable. He navigated the rugged terrain with such confidence and ease that we felt safe and excited the entire time.

This isn’t just an activity — it’s a memory you’ll carry with you. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Scotland. Do it at least once in your life — for the thrill, for the peace, and for the incredible perspective it gives you on the natural beauty of this country. I’ll definitely be back for another round!

What a wonderful day out. We booked a full day experience and our guide for the day was Paddy. He went above and beyond, entertaining us, including some history, local knowledge and stories. He was incredibly patient with us doing the off road driving and even got a box/step to help us getting in and out of car. (Although his colleagues thought it was for him😂). The scenery was breath taking. And we ended the day feeling we had made a new friend in Paddy. Would thoroughly recommend.

We just returned from our adventure and had an amazing time. Andrew was so kind, shared so much history of Scotland and had the patience of a saint. He encouraged the drivers and praised them. Highly recommend you book your trip with 4 x 4 Adventures!!! Andrew also surprised us with a special little gift!

We did the half-day tour with Paddy and had an awesome time! He was fun, engaging, and full of great stories. My fiancée and I drove most of the trail section, and Paddy handled the drive to and from the highway. We laughed the whole time and had a blast.

My fiancée had never driven a manual before, but Paddy gave clear instructions and tons of encouragement—she picked it up with no problem.

We even spotted a Highland cow along the way, which was a fun surprise!

Also, if you’re into cars, Paddy’s a true petrolhead, so you’ll have plenty to talk about. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Paddy as your guide!

Our tour guide Paddy was absolutely incredible. I think we laughed for the entire time and he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and surrounding area. The trails were very fun and it was exciting to drive the Land Rover. There was great communication on the day of the tour and I would totally recommend this company to anyone looking for a fun adventure in Loch Lamond.
