Absolutely brilliant.
Helpful and knowledgeable from the beginning to the end.
I cannot rate Claire, Rhona, Melissa and the rest of Claire's team highly enough l.
They put together the most amazing holiday for us and with so much patience every time I changed bits and pieces.
From the beginning to the end we were treated as individuals and made to feel special rather than just numbers.
The locations that they sent us to and the hotels we stayed in brought tears to our eyes on many occasions.
The guide on the ground (Jaco from Cape Fox) was also brilliant and knowledgeable and became a friend whilst we were away.
So many friends have been following our amazing journey on FB and asking who we arranged it with - the hotels, the guides and the whole journey was simply the best.

Fantastic holiday organised by Claire and the team at 2by2.
The first part of our trip was a Safari at the Madikwe reserve in South Africa, which was the experience of a lifetime for both my wife and myself!! We saw the "Big 5" that everyone talks about, but there is so much more to see and enjoy, the diversity is amazing. My own personal favourite was an encounter with African Wild Dogs, which we were lucky enough to find after looking for a whole day over two game drives.
From there we flew back to Johannesberg for one night, then on to Mauritius, where we enjoyed a nine day stay in the Ravanela Attitude, a 4 star hotel where the staff were absolutely brilliant and treated us like royalty.
All in all a brilliant experience. What was for us quite an involved holiday ( six flights plus transfers, etc) went really smoothly, thanks in no small part to Claire and her colleagues.
I would definitely recommend 2by2 for your next adventure!!

Trip Review: 2x2 Holidays: Tanzania Escorted Tour: Serengeti Safari + Zanzibar (June 28, 2002 – July 9, 2022)

I have to start by saying that this trip by far exceeded all my expectations. This trip was originally booked to celebrate my 50th birthday (July 8, 2020) but thanks to COVID, I had to reschedule it for 2021 and with COVID still raging strong around the world, had to reschedule it again for 2022 and that was the magic year as my friend and I were FINALLY able to make the trip!

A special thanks to all the staff working at 2x2 Holidays (especially Claire, Lisa and Rhona) who helped make this trip an adventure to remember for the rest of my life. The trip was planned to precision by 2x2 Holidays and despite a few flight changes, everything was perfect. The local company in Tanzania, Ranger Safaris, was also excellent in keeping with the itinerary and ensuring a very safe and amazing tour. They were highly professional and flexible to accommodate us with any changes we suggested.

I definitely, absolutely recommend 2x2 Holidays – as I previously mentioned, everything was perfect. If someone was supposed to pick us up, they were there at the expected time/location. All the guides and sites were excellent. If any questions arose before/during/after the trip, they were quick to respond by email with a solution. They were kind and understating regarding my medical condition and were quick to allay my fears and concerns. All of our arranged transfers were handled professionally and the drivers were all on time and easily identified. The drivers were all friendly and courteous. So, all that being said, if you are planning to arrange a Safari trip to Tanzania (or any other fabulous holiday), I definitely recommend 2x2 Holidays as they will expertly and efficiently manage everything for you – all you have to do is get on the plane and the rest is so well managed (by local companies) that you won’t have to worry about a thing! I will definitely use them again in the future.

We would like to thank Claire and the whole team for organising the most amazing trip to Uganda for us and especially for their support prior to departure when we had difficulties with passport delays.Uganda truly is the Pearl of Africa and our trip gave us the most remarkable wildlife sightings,topped by Gorilla encounters in Bwindi and being surrounded by Giraffes near Lake Mburo as the sun was setting on our final day of safari.I was brought close to tears of joy on more than one occasion! Absolutely magical.

Once again 2by2 organised a great itinerary, this time in Costa Rica. They obviously contract a great team on the ground because (as usual) all transfers and excursions went exactly to plan. We were severely delayed by accidents on the way to SJO airport and the local agent ensured BA were aware and kept the baggage drop open for us - a tense situation resolved with 7 minutes to spare!

We have just returned from a holiday in Costa Rica, organised through 2 by 2 holidays. This is the 4th time we have used 2 by 2 and we would thoroughly recommend them. 2by2 Holidays organised my holiday to Botswana and Victoria Falls in 2007 and it was fantastic.

The company have excellent knowledge of what to see and do and gave us good advice which meant that we got the most out of the holiday. Also, the hotels were lovely and selected specifically with us in mind (this is important as everyone has different tastes!).

We visited several places and all the transfers were organised perfectly (something that can be difficult in Africa).

We have been on holiday to Africa about 5 times now, this was our first organised by 2by2 Holidays and it was by far the best organised trip yet.

I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to go on Safari. Make sure you tell them what you want to do and see plus how much you can afford. They can be trusted to give good advice and select the most appropriate accommodation.
