I’ve rented from 1st Call several times and I’ve always been delighted. This time I needed a car derivative van for a week and absolutely delighted with the Vauxhall they gave me. Van was brand new and well equipped. Rental cost very competitive and customer service is second to none.

1st call saved my bacon after I was badly let down by entreprise stroud - who hired me a van that didn't exist, and to date have still not refunded me - I called 1st call and even though it was a Saturday and they were just about to close, they stayed open for me so I could collect the van! The price was slightly more expensive than entreprise but I was happy to pay the difference and deal with these people instead.

The van itself was basically new, really clean and lovely to drive. It was amazingly fuel efficient too.

After I'd brought it back, I discovered i'd lost my gold ring, i gave them a call and they were so helpful and looked in the van for me to make sure I hadn't lost it in there. Really lovely, honest people - a pleasure to deal with. Thanks again!

As a regular user of 1st Call I had the need of a van recently for just one day. Having collected the van and headed off to pick up the items required it soon became apparent that the van we hired wasn't large enough! One call to 1st Call and they pulled out all the stops to swap the van for a long wheel based transit that was ideal. Kerry and the staff were excellent as always. Highly recommended!
