I have to put my hands up and say, my prejudice towards caravan holidays have certainly been quashed. The accommodation was great. There were a few foibles, like the oven and washing machine not working, which was very annoying. Which has been mentioned in a couple of reviews. I mean, if you pay for accommodation which advertises all the bits and bobs, you’d expect them to work. Entrance rug was not in the best of state and netting curtains certainly needed a change, due to holes and marks everywhere. Other than that, it was very clean and surprisingly spacious. The bedrooms were of good quality and the shower water pressure(which I always check upon arrival), was amazingly strong. One bedroom had an en-suite shower and there was a bath in the bathroom(😉). Nothing better than having two toilets with a family holiday. Lots of storage space and one room has a walk-in wardrobe. The living room and kitchen were definitely the main surprise. Dinner table and a breakfast table island. That gives scope to the space. I haven’t even mentioned the living room area too. Electric old school fireplace and comfy sofa and settee arrangement. There is even a dishwasher to boot. Never used it though. Then again, I’m not a big fan of them. Oh, and a microwave. TV’s of course. One in the living room and one in one of the bedrooms. I don’t know why they took out the tv in the other bedroom. Outside terrace was great for running about for our child but, disappointed there were no outdoor furniture. I completely forgot, there is an entrance area with a sink, which was great for dumping and cleaning our beach stuff. Talking about the beach, it’s literally a five minute walk away. Which is the best thing about the location of this accommodation. Yes it’s not boho-chic but, there were a few middle-class families about. Being a caravan park, yes the stereotypes does exist but, the people we interacted with were very lovely. I mean, the bonus of it all is, if you have a mad family, it’s the best place to be. They can shout to their hearts content and have meltdowns galore, and it’s all considered okay, because no one can hardly hear you. Unlike a boutique hotel, which is extortionately overpriced and will inevitably have people complaining about the noise. Also, there are so many activities for kids and as it was the summer holidays, kids activities are increased in price and it is better to spend it on keeping your child amused, than wasting it on accommodation. Therefore, if you’re a family and have a nutter of a child and want to keep them entertained, don’t be afraid to stay in a caravan park. As long as you choose a good caravan house like this. We truly enjoyed our stay. Just don’t eat in the restaurant within the compounds. Unless you like bland and triple bypass style food. Eat at the Owl and the Gallivant or if you’re heading into Rye, head to the Queens Head pub. If you want a stylee London style coffee shop, have your coffee and pastries, at the Camber Landings. Also, when driving back to London or wherever you’re heading home to, make sure you go for breakfast in Tibbs Farm cafe. Beautiful place and the full-English hits the spot. They also have a fruit picking area, which is a must. Don’t forget buy food for the lambs and pigs.

Accommodation was very comfortable and well placed. Only issue was the bed pillows were very thin. Other than this the mattress in the master bedroom was very comfortable and the living room area was really comfortable and luxurious. We had a fabulous stay.

For the money we paid for 1 night, I wish I'd driven home! Cobwebs and spiders as soon as I step out of the car as the plot was unkept and overgrown with brambles. Poo of the gravel. Empty beer cans and bottles outside. As soon as you open the door the very bad smell of dog pee which didn't go even after a full can of air freshener! Not recommended!!! when you can get more nights for same price in nicer trailers!

Major works were going on right out the caravan, loud enough to make it vibrate! We contacted 1066. They stated they weren't informed by the park. We wouldn't of booked the caravan if we had known. It wasn't relaxing, we couldn't spend anytime there during the day. No compensation offered which I feel it should of been. Windows had to be kept shut to make it bareable enough to get ready and out in the morning. It was very hot! Also, no towels at all, even though it states there would be. The garden it not like the picture, the grass needs cutting, there are holes around the fence line, so not secure for smaller dogs and the brambles are over grown. Not a place to sit and enjoy the evening. The bathroom had a bad smell also. Would not return or use the company again sadly.

It was a good location, but very outdated, rusty radiators and dirty floors, kitchen and shower. Beds were uncomfortable too. For the price it was fine and the kids didn’t care but needs lots doing to it.

We stayed with 2 adults 4 month old twins an 11 year old and a 6 year old. It was a home from home! Lovely and clean, great communication! Highly recommend! Thank you for our stay x

Caravan was as advertised. It was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed. Park was lovely overall, parking easy, access to a shop etc and literally 5 mins to the beach. It was excellent to be able to take a small dog with the benefit of the decking around the caravan to keep them safe.

A few things that could be improved: lodgify app didn't work for me, just kept hanging. We didn't know where the van was on the park as we didn't get this info so had to use the Parkdean staff to help us out. Some instructions to help with use of oven and dishwasher would be helpful, also a few more bed pillows.

I would absolutely book here again we loved it!

Beautiful caravan but lots of issues on arrival....dishwasher drawer wouldn't pull out. Crumbs in cupboards! Unable to use washing machine even though utility room is advertised in the gallery. Insufficient cookware. Telly In second bedroom not working but told by customer service that it was, only to be told by maintenance that the telly had been reported as broken weeks ago.
For a very expensive caravan like this I would expect everything to be in good working order.
Finally it advertises a lovely decking area where you can enjoy a coffee yet there is no seating so all in all I'd say not worth the money.
Customer service wasn't great I'm responding to our issues we won't be booking with 1066 again.
Such a shame we have been using them foe years but standards have clearly slipped.
